History

  1. 1950

    Origins in Limbach

    The story of the HELI brand begins in Limbach, Saxony, where radios and audio devices for everyday life are produced.

  2. 1960s

    Technology and industrial design

    HELI becomes a name for innovative radio technology and distinctive industrial design, including well-known work by designers Karl Clauss Dietel and Lutz Rudolph.

Today · Contemporary interpretation

Revival as a Sound & Living brand

Mallet Consult GmbH, Hamburg, now holds the HELI trademark rights and is developing the brand as a contemporary Sound & Living concept. The historic designers are not involved in this revival; today's concepts are a respectful interpretation of the heritage.
